2019-11-01US and Canada Market: Change to Winter Time
US and Canada will end daylight saving time at 2:00pm HKT on 3rd Nov, 2019 (Sunday). The time difference between Hong Kong and US East Coast will increase by 1 hour to 13 hours, until 8th March, 2020 (Sunday).
From 4th Nov, 2019 (Monday), US and Canada Stocks Market trading hour will shift for 1 hour, opening at 10:30pm HKT and closing at 5:00am HKT the next day.

2019-09-05Suspension for Hong Kong Derivatives Market
- In order to preserve an orderly market, Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) has suspended trading in its derivatives market for the afternoon and After-hours Trading sessions at 2 pm on 5 September 2019 due to prolonged connectivity issues on the Hong Kong Futures Automatic Trading System. The clearing system for derivatives will remain open for the afternoon session only. The settlement cycle of securities traded at the Japan Exchange Group (JPX) adopted an amendment from three business days, known as T+3 to two business days, T+2.

2019-06-10Rollout of the HKFE T+1 Session Trading Hours Extension from 1:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m.
